Kintamani Volcano Tour 1

The Kintamani Volcano Tour begins with a visit to the village of Batubulan (literally translated as Moonstone) for a performance of the famous Barong Dance and Kris Sword Trance performances.

Traditional Ubud Tour

This half day tour explores the cultural and artistic center of Ubud and the surrounding area. The town was originally important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants; Ubud gets its name from the Balinese word ubad which means medicine. On the way to Ubud, guests stop in Tohpati village, famous for Batik painting, the village of Celuk for gold and silverworks, the village of Mas for woodcarving and of course Ubud, home to local and international artists, temple ceremonies and a vibrant culture.

Kintamani Volcano Tour 2

Kintamani is one of the most awesome views on the island overlooking the largest crater lake in Bali at Danua Batur and the still active volcano of Mount Batur. The lake covers over 18 square kilometers and is a vital source of fresh water for the island. As such the lake and surrounding temples are highly revered and it is not unusual to see some sort of ceremonial procession or offerings taking place.

Bedugul Tour & Lunch

This full day tour explores the magnificent mountain scenery of Bedugul between Denpasar and the north coast town of Singaraja. At an elevation of approximately 1,500 meters, Bedugul is blessed with a cooler climate than the coastal areas and as a result a wide variety of fruit and vegetables can be found here, particularly in the local busy market of Candi Kuning. This is the first port of call for the tour and a great opportunity to experience local shopping and bargaining. From here guests are taken to the village of Gobleg for a truly wonderful view of the twin mountain lakes of Buyan and Tamblingan.

Besakih Temple Tour & Lunch

This full day tour heads to the most sacred temple in Bali. Besakih or the Mother Temple is located high on the slopes of Bali's highest and most scared volcano, Gunung Agung in the east of the island. There are at least seventy festivals held at the temple complex each year since there is a yearly anniversary celebrating almost every shrine. This yearly cycle is based on the 210-day Balinese wuku calendar system.

The Lovina Tour on Bali's north coast begins with a visit to the villages of Blimbing and Pupuan who boast stunning rice field and coffee plantation views along the edge of the West Bali National Park.

Batukaru, Jatiluwih Tour

This is a full day tour to the magnificent Batukaru and Jatiluwih areas. Gunung Batukaru, is Bali's second-highest mountain at 2,276 meters and is worshipped by the Balinese with a temple devoted to it at Pura Luhur Batukaru. The mountain (now a dormant volcano) has the largest crater in Bali. It is open at the southern end allowing the river Mawa to escape. This is what gives the mountain its name as Batukaru in Balinese means ‘coconut shell'.

Mengwi, Tanah Lot Temple

This tour takes us to the Mengwi Royal Family Temple and then to Tanah Lot Temple for a spectacular sunset. Mengwi Royal Family Temple, also known as Pura Taman Ayun, dates back to 1634 and is a picturesque complex surrounded by a moat with multi-roofed meru shrines and intricately carved wooden gates. Taman Ayun in Balinese means ‘beautiful garden' and the location lives up to its name.

Alas Kedaton, Mengwi, Tanah Lot

This tour takes us to the Mengwi Royal Family Temple, the monkey forest sanctuary of Alas Kedaton and then to Tanah Lot Temple for a spectacular sunset.

Uluwatu, Kecak Dance Tour

This half day tour to the Bukit Peninsula visits Pura Luhur or the Balinese sea temple at Uluwatu. Built in the 11th century and on the edge of a 300 meter rock face, the temple faces the Indian Ocean in the southern most part of the island. Uluwatu is also famous for its world class surf spots and views over the ocean from the temple are simply stunning.
